ABOUT ME

I'm a guy that's lucky enough to have been working on what he likes! Currently I am a research fellow at INL.

I am a chemist with 16 years of research experience. My research career started in Portugal on the treatment of waste water from the textile industry, continued in England with the mimicking of the cell membrane. At Aarhus University and at INL I worked on the development of biosensors. In Antwerp I was part of a team that developed a photoelectrochemical assay for the detection of miRNAs as biomarkers from prostate cancer. This work was developed within the framework of the MSCA-IF INFORM (grant number 842219) awarded to me.

On my free time I like to run, cycle, cooking and watch TV series!
